The Chamber of Us

Helping good work move from evidence to action.

TCUS is a volunteer-powered nonprofit building open infrastructure for coordination, implementation, and learning. We focus on the difficult middle: where promising ideas, research, pilots, people, and funding need to become trusted action.

Why TCUS exists

Many real-world problems are not missing solutions. They are missing pathways.

A pilot works, but does not spread. A research finding is credible, but does not reach the institution that can act on it. A funder wants impact, but cannot tell which opportunity is ready. A volunteer wants to help, but cannot find the right work.

TCUS exists to make that path more visible.

We help good work move from evidence → trust → commitment → implementation → learning.

Pathfinder

A methodology for managing adoption pathways under uncertainty.

Pathfinder is TCUS’ open methodology for helping promising work survive the passage from idea to responsible adoption.

Pathfinder asks one central question:

Who must say yes next, and what would make that yes responsible?

Evidence Packs

What is known, how we know it, and what remains uncertain.

Adoption Pathway Maps

Who must say yes next, and what evidence they need.

Readiness Lanes

Where the pathway is blocked.

Decision Ledgers

Why a choice was made.

Work Graphs

Who can do the work required to move forward.

The TCUS Superstack

Pathfinder is the methodology. The Superstack is one implementation environment.

Each layer supports part of the evidence-to-action loop.

Quasar

Evidence

Structures evidence, datasets, source history, and provenance.

Supports: Evidence Packs

Sentinel

Analysis

Surfaces gaps, contradictions, uncertainty, and possible next questions.

Supports: readiness analysis and option review

Lodestar

Governance

Supports ethical review, decision records, consent, conflict-of-interest checks, and accountability.

Libelle

People

Connects people to meaningful work through skills, availability, roles, onboarding, and contribution tracking.

Work in the field

We test our methods through real projects, partnerships, and research.

Ethiopia · Education Infrastructure

From the Ground Up

TCUS helped align community funding with partner resources and local support to fund classroom infrastructure in Azezo, Ethiopia.

This was not only a funding project. It was a lesson in how targeted commitments can unlock larger implementation pathways.

Ethiopia · Library Support

Gendit Library

TCUS facilitated a $70,000 donor-advised fund transfer to support a library build and resourcing at Gendit Primary School, led by Building Futures Ethiopia in partnership with Together We Learn Ethiopia.

Construction Innovation Research

TCUS is studying how construction innovations move from technical possibility to institutional use, with attention to pilots, second decisions, evidence transfer, standards, procurement, and training.

Why Ethiopia matters

A place where the future is being built now.

Education, health, housing, energy, and infrastructure systems are expanding under real constraints. Decisions made today will shape opportunity, resilience, and development pathways for decades.

TCUS began in Ethiopia because the need is real, the partnerships are meaningful, and the learning is transferable.

The goal is not to impose outside solutions. The goal is to support trusted partners, learn from real implementation pathways, and build tools that help good work move responsibly.

Principles

Open, human-led, consent-based, evidence-first.

Open

We favor transparent methods, open documentation, and reusable tools.

Human-led

AI may assist with evidence, coordination, and drafting, but humans remain responsible for judgment and decisions.

Consent-based

We design for privacy, user control, and respectful participation.

Evidence-first

We separate what we know from what we assume, and we document uncertainty.

Partner-centered

We work through real relationships, local context, and accountable implementation.

Learning-oriented

A project that stops responsibly can still teach us something valuable.

Join or partner

Bring a problem that deserves more than another report.

TCUS is built by people who want their skills to matter. We need builders, researchers, designers, writers, analysts, project managers, data people, engineers, and thoughtful generalists.

The Chamber of Us

Good work often fails alone.

TCUS exists to help people, projects, evidence, and institutions find each other before the window closes.

The goal is not to force scale. The goal is to make the next responsible commitment possible.
